Danee Gijse is a Sustainable Employability Advisor at Projob. She helps temporary workers to work in a vital, safe, and skilled way while also experiencing job satisfaction. If you, as a temporary worker or client, have a question or request regarding sustainable employability, Danee is your point of contact. “It means something different for everyone, so we tailor our approach to the individual. We work as preventively as possible because remaining employable and preventing absenteeism requires attention to people and early detection of needs,” says Danee. Her goal is to ensure someone is truly comfortable in their role. To do this, Danee takes a broad view of the whole picture (with work playing an important part) and tries to see what the person needs. “It’s sustainable for the worker and also leads to higher client satisfaction.”
As a Sustainable Employability Advisor, Danee serves as a linking pin between various departments within Projob, such as Recruitment and Coaching & Training. Within the team, she sees herself as an initiator and connector. “I’m helpful and patient. People often come to me with questions, and I set everything aside to help them first. If someone needs a listening ear, I give them my full attention so they can truly express themselves.”
She also enjoys developing herself, so she’s always pursuing some form of study or training alongside her work. Danee is also a yoga instructor and offers short meditation sessions during work for the Projob team members who are interested. She finds joy in dancing and also loves skiing, hiking in the mountains, and camping. And when she can, Danee indulges endlessly in books and podcasts.
